Equipment Offerings

When you order DirecTV programming you get the following equipment for free:

* An all-weather DirecTV satellite dish

* A four-room satellite TV receiver system

* Remote controls for your receivers

Installation of your new system is free, and your installer will even explain how to use it.

DirecTV also offers the following options:

* You can get a free HD (high definition) receiver so you can watch HD programs

* You can get a free DVR (digital video recorder) receiver so you can record programs, plus pause, rewind, and fast forward live TV

Programming Offerings

If you want more channels and more variety, you can upgrade to the Choice package which has 150 channels of TV programming, and includes 48 XM satellite radio channels. The cost for this package has been dropped to $39.99 a month.

At the top end of the lineup is DirecTV's Premier package which includes 265 channels - 188 TV Channels, 73 XM satellite radio channels, 31 movie channels (HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, and Starz), and DVR service. The price for this package is now $63.99 a month.
